Job Description:
Store/Office Manager Clerical/Design, with possible advance to Management Position Overview:
The Store/Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a store or office, ensuring efficient functioning, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
The Store/Office Manager is responsible for optimizing productivity, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Key
Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Learn and follow operational policies and procedures to ensure smooth store/office operations.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation to ensure availability of products/materials.
Oversee store/office maintenance, cleanliness, and safety standards, addressing any issues promptly.
Develop and enforce efficient workflow processes to maximize productivity and minimize errors.
Team Leadership and Development:
Recruit, train, and supervise store/office staff, providing ongoing guidance and coaching.

Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and collaboration.
Set performance expectations, conduct performance evaluations, and address any performance issues.
I would handle this ongoing.
Identify training needs and coordinate training programs (?) to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Customer Service:
Maintain a customer-centric approach and ensure exceptional customer service standards are met.
Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Train and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and exceed customer expectations.
Administrative Tasks:
Manage administrative functions, including record-keeping, report generation, and documentation.
Oversee cash handling procedures, petty cash, and financial reporting.
Qualifications and Skills:
retail management, or a related field (preferred).
Experience dealing with public.
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a retail or office environment.
Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
MUST be knowledgeable with Microsoft Word and Publisher.
This person must be CREATIVE.
Knowledge of/familiar with use of Copiers, Printers & Fax.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering excellent service.
OPEN & CLOSE office.
Be prepared to clean copiers, vacuum, clean toilet, collect and put out trash.
Monitor building.
Report issues to corporate maintenance.
If tenants have issues, report to corporate maintenance.
In the event a space becomes vacant in the building, be prepared to show to possible tenants and explain parameters.
