Casual work attire Relaxed atmosphere Safe work environment As the administrative assistant, you will apply your knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures to support the pastor and congregation.
Your duties will include providing general administrative support, managing and maintaining the church calendars, maintaining the church membership directory, publishing the Sunday worship bulletin and weekly newsletter, overseeing facility rental and use, being the first contact for those seeking financial assistance as well for other visitors to the office, ordering and managing office supplies, performing general clerical duties and creating reports from data using various software.
Experience with Microsoft Office and Publisher a must.
Responsibilities:
Perform general office duties like typing, copying, filing, and faxing.
Provide service of various kinds to members and visitors.
Answer phones and direct calls.
Be a friendly and welcoming face to the community.
