The schedule includes working evening and weekend hours.
This position interacts directly with library patrons at the circulation desk, performing a variety of clerical tasks dealing primarily with the circulation of materials to library users.
Essential duties include maintaining good relations with the public and staff; using the library's automated system to circulate materials, process holds, register patrons, and collecting fees; attending to public use equipment including printers, copiers, and fax machines; participating in staff meetings, and other tasks assigned.
The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, is customer service oriented, has experience working with computers, can type accurately, is detail-oriented, and works well with others.
